A: DNA testing is for people who want peace of mind on whether they are biologically related or not. In addition, it’s for people who want to know their single genetic profile. DNA testing can also be required in legal cases such as changing of name in the birth certificate, proving filiation in embassies, and establishing familial relationship for inheritance purposes. Remember, only DNA knows.
A: The DNA test results can only be given to the applicant or the applicant’s authorized representative. The Company shall not respond to any inquiries from anyone other than the applicant regarding information on the DNA test.
A: Your privacy and security is important to us. We do not disclose any information regarding the test results over the phone. Furthermore, all data in our systems are automatically deleted after releasing the result.
A: The test results have a maximum accuracy rate of 99.999999%
A: The child could be of any age (new born babies, infant, etc.). However, if the child is underage, the consent must be given by the child’s parent or legal guardian.

A: At DNA Genes PH, we prefer the method of collecting buccal cells from the inside of a participant’s cheek for DNA analysis. It is very simple, convenient and painless.
A: In a non-legal test, yes you can. However, the test results using this kind of sample cannot be used for legal purposes or in any court proceedings.
A: Once we have confirmed the payment and recipient’s details, we will immediately ship the DNA Home Collection Kit, and it will arrive in 2-3 business days depending on the location.
A: Technically, a paternity test can be done only with the alleged father. However, in case the alleged father is not available, we offer other relationship tests such as Grandparentage Test or Avuncular Test. Please contact us for more information regarding this.
A: You can use swab-kit for a non-legal test. We will provide you instructions as to how you can perform the sample collection properly. There will be a list of procedures and guidelines provided in the swab-kit.
A: We collect DNA by swabbing the inside of the participants’ cheeks. This method is very simple, painless, and convenient.
A: We suggest that all DNA samples be submitted all together to avoid delay in testing. For other circumstances, please contact us.

A: Our laboratory always achieves a 0% probability of parentage if the alleged father/mother is not the biological father/mother and a greater than 99.9% probability of parentage if the alleged father/mother is the biological father/mother.
A: The result will be available in 15-20 business days for Non-legal DNA test and 20-25 business days for Legal DNA test. Please note that Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays are not counted in the number of days.
